Four-Year-Old Orders Over $2,600 Of SpongeBob Popsicles On Amazon
I guess the popsicle party’s at 4-year-old Noah’s house!
According to the GoFundMe page that Katie Schloss set up, 4-year-old Noah ordered $2,619 worth of SpongeBob SquarePants popsicles and sent them to his Auntie’s house. That’s 51 cases which contained 918 popsicles!
Katie said, “As (truly!) adorable as this story is, Jennifer Bryant, Noah’s mom, is a social work student at NYU (we took Policy I together) and simply cannot afford this. Amazon will not take back the popsicles, and Ms. Bryant, mom to 3 boys, doesn’t know how she’s going to be able to pay this off, in addition to student loans and all of her family’s other expenses.”
As I type this, the GoFundMe page has raised over $5,700. That’s more than enough to cover the popsicle bill.
In an updated message on the page, Noah’s mom said, “As a parent to a child living with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), all additional donations will go towards Noah’s education and additional supports.”
