Mariah Carey has addressed claims that there was an "explosive" blowout between her and Jay-Z during a meeting about the future of her career... and of course, she did so in a very Mariah Carey fashion.

As we earlier reported, a source told tabloid outlet The Sun that “Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all. She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation.”

A contradicting source told another tabloid outlet, The Daily Mirror that “Mariah’s relationship with Roc Nation ended courteously and she and Jay-Z are on great terms."

Mariah put that all to rest when she took to Twitter to directly address these allegations. The 51-year-old wrote over a clip from her and Hov's 1999 song, "Heartbreaker": "The only 'explosive' situation I'd ever 'get into' with Hov is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song 'Heartbreaker'!! To the people who make up these lies I say 'Poof! —Vamoose, sonofa*****'!"

Fans on Twitter loved her reaction:
