As news broke today that the Patriots had released Cam Newton, he's been the number one trending topic on Twitter. Fans started posting messages on his last Instagram post wishing him luck. Cam took to Instagram stories to comment about the situation in his typical Cam font:
"I really appreciate all the love and support during this time but I must say... please don't feel sorry for me!! #imGOOD." He finished the message with the one-eyed winking emoji and "one finger, one pinky, one thumb, one love."
