LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 26: SZA onstage at the REVOLT X AT&T 3-Day Summit In Los Angeles - Day 2 at Magic Box on October 26, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Singer and songwriter SZA says that the recent photos posted of her by photographer Edwig Henson were posted without her consent.

On Monday, Henson posted sultry photos of the singer wearing a blue string bikini, clear heels, and sleek dark hair, per Vibe.

The CTRL singer took to Twitter to give advice to fans on working relationships with creatives. In a since-deleted tweet, per the outlet, she said, “Releasing pictures of me w/out my consent is scary. Y’all be careful working w folk u don’t know well.”

She added in response to a fan’s inquiry about the photos: “He literally text me [and] said ‘sorry if u never wanna work w me again but I decided I’m releasing these’ never felt more powerless or disrespected.”

“If I don’t want pics out cause I don’t wanna fight w My ex , or my album not done and I wanna wait or I decided i DONT wanna be wanna be hyper-sexualized in that way rn . Das my choice as a woman. As a human,” the “Good Days” singer added to the tweet at the time.

Following the last tweet, the singer added, “Lemme pray. Cause karma realer than anything Twitter got.”

Fans began reporting the picture from Henson’s Instagram page after SZA commented on the post: “I begged u not to post these.”

Henson then stated his side on the matter in a now-deleted Twitter thread, mostly blaming a “poor lack of communication” on SZA’s team’s part per HotNewHipHop.

The photographer claimed he paid for the studio, hairstylist, and makeup artist, and although he agreed that his compensation would be sharing his work with SZA, Henson was frustrated that his pictures would not be seen per the outlet.

Top Dawg Entertainment President, Punch, also expressed that Henson was unresponsive to communication efforts on his part.

Anybody know this dude @Edwiggery? This man leaked a whole photo shoot of SZA WITHOUT permission. Now he’s not responding,” tweeted Punch per Vibe.
