Chipotle Is Selling Cilantro-Flavored Soap
Are you one of those people who hates cilantro, because it tastes like soap? Some of us have a genetic quirk that gives it an overwhelming soapy flavor. And now Chipotle is poking fun at that by selling ACTUAL cilantro soap.
They just added it to their online store, ChipotleGoods.com. The description says it’s the, quote, “perfect gift for cilantro lovers AND haters.” One bar costs $8 and has the Chipotle logo on the front of the box.
It doesn’t look like they put actual ground-up cilantro in there. But one of the main ingredients is “coriander essential oil,” which is basically the same thing. Cilantro is the word we use for the leaves and stems of the plant. Coriander usually means it’s made from the seeds.
