Why Kanye West Decided to Buy a Home Across the Street from Ex Kim Kardashian
You might have heard that Kanye West bought a $4.5 million dollar Hidden Hills home across the street from estranged wife Kim Kardashian, but why?
Well, sources tell E! News that Kanye wanted to have a place near the kids, and also plans to tear down the current residence and rebuild. “He scooped it up right when it hit the market in early December and the escrow closed right before Christmas,” the source stated.
The insider also said that the Calabasas property sits on a 1-acre lot that is perfect for whatever he wants to do. The source added that he won’t be able to live there for a while, as it will take time to get permits and make plans.
Kim Kardashian lives across the street and is the full owner of the Hidden Hills mansion that she and Ye purchased back in 2014. She currently resides there with the estranged couples four kids, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
