Betty White’s last word was…
If you know anything about BETTY WHITE, then her final word will be no surprise to you: It was ALLEN . . . as in her husband ALLEN LUDDEN.
This comes from CAROL BURNETT, who heard it from Betty’s assistant, then told their mutual friend VICKI LAWRENCE.
Vicki says, quote, “How sweet is that? That is so sweet. God, I hope that’s true. For all of us, I really hope it’s true, a lovely thought.”
Carol, Vicki, and Betty worked together on “The Carol Burnett Show” and its spinoff “Mama’s Family”.
Betty and Allen Ludden were married from 1963 until his death in 1981.
