It's been talked about for weeks and now, Chick-fil-A is officially open on Boylston Street. They've been trying to have a location in Boston since 2012 when the then Mayor Menino denied it saying “there is no place for discrimination” in the city. Chick-fil-A has been known for its company’s donations to political organizations that opposed same-sex marriage. Massachusetts already has 16 other Chick-fil-A restaurants across the state in Attleboro, Brockton, Burlington, Hyannis, Chicopee, Dedham, Framingham, Hanover, Marlboro, Methuen, Peabody, Plymouth, Seekonk, Westboro, Woburn and Worcester.
