Today’s “outdoor dining” menu on Mount Washington… frozen spaghetti!
The Mount Washington Observatory in NH shared this pic of a plate of frozen spaghetti holding up a fork on social media. According to their tweet, one of their Observers TRIED to eat some leftover spaghetti for breakfast in the -30F temperatures away from the 65+ mph winds and it immediately froze before they could even take a bite!
Our below freezing temps with the wind chill factored in today here in Massachusetts won’t be THIS extreme but definitely be careful and bundle up if you have to go outside!
One of our Observers found an area out of the 65+ mph winds this morning and was going to have some leftover spaghetti for breakfast at #sunrise but the -30F (-34C) temperatures prevented them from even taking a bite.— Mount Washington Observatory (MWO) (@MWObs) January 11, 2022
