How ironic is it that the Boston Terrier did not make this list. So licensing data was analyzed for all of 2021 and the results are in. If you owned a lab or golden retriever, you have two of the most popular dog breeds in Boston. Chihuahuas and German Shepherds tied for third and fourth place.
