Kingston, MA couple wins $5 million suit after house is pelted with hundreds of golf balls
Well aint that somethin’. Erik and Athina Tenczar have been living in their Kingston home for the past 4 years. The problem is, the home is next to Indian Pond Country Club, which on the surface doesn’t seem so bad. Not until their home started getting pelted with golf balls on a regular basis. Besides the gun shot sounds the balls would make there was also damages like broken windows and dented siding. So they decided to sue the golf course for trespass over the continual bombardment. They were granted around $5 million for damages and emotional and mental suffering. “We’re always on edge,” Erik Tenczar told the Globe “It’s been emotionally taxing on us.”
