Didn’t Know This About Flight Attendants And I’m Shocked ✈️

You know how they say you learn something new every day? I had no idea this was true about flight attendants! So Delta Airlines has been facing attempts from flight attendants to unionize, and now will begin paying cabin crews during boarding. Wait what?!?!?!?! Flight attendants haven't been paid during boarding??? I can't even believe this is a thing!

Apparently, in the United States, hourly pay for flight attendants starts when all the passengers are seated and the plane’s doors close. The Delta announcement about paying cabin crews is a first for a major U.S. airline. The FIRST! I can't even get over that. How do you not get paid when you're working? They have to deal with people trying to get on with extra luggage, people who can't get their bag above their seat, people asking for something to drink before they're even off the ground, just people being people. I get it, we're all stressed while traveling, but flight attendants have to deal with a lot. And to not get paid until the doors close? I'm in shock!

The changes will start on June 2nd on all flights, but the rate of pay during boarding will be 50% of regular wages. Wow this story just gets worse! Get more info on this story HERE.
