It’s official… “Hocus Pocus 2” is coming! Disney+ announced on Tuesday that the long awaited sequel will be released to the streaming service on September 30th, just in time for Halloween season. Plus, we finally got a first look at the film.

The original “Hocus Pocus” premiered back in 1993, telling the story of The Sanderson Sisters in Salem, Massachusetts, who were resurrected on All Hallows’ Eve with the Black Flame Candle after spending 300 years asleep. In the sequel, the sisters have risen and will now face against two young girls who again light the candle. The three actresses, Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah, and Kathy Najimy as Mary, are all reprising their original roles.

“Hocus Pocus 2” was filmed last fall in and around Providence. Watch the teaser trailer below and see the official poster for the movie.
