50 made fun of Ashanti after her ticket sales started slipping back in 2018 and allegedly forced her to cancel one concert. "Do basement parties then it can still feel like it's lit. I don't know what to say. LOL," the rapper said on Instagram at the time. Ashanti later responded to 50 and clarified why the concert was actually canceled per TMZ: "Officer Curtis better cut it out. The school put out a statement to clarify it was a lack of promotion… Curtis is definitely a bully."

Wow, its been twenty years since Ashanti released her 1st album Foolish. The album sold over two million copies and debuted at number one on the billboard charts. According to Tv One, the album “landed the #1 spot on both the Billboard Top 200 and R&B album charts, selling a whopping 504,593 units in its first week and set a Sound Scan record as the most albums sold by any debut female artist in the chart’s history. Holding this record put Ashanti in the Guinness Book of World Records, which she still holds today.”  Ashanti was nominated for eight grammies and won only one. She has won two American Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards and six ASCAP awards. According to The Source Ashanti “contributed to singles such as ‘I’m Real’ and “Aint it Funny.”
