Patriots Announce Training Camp Schedule
The Patriots are back on the field preparing for the 2022 season. They are hoping for better results then last year. Today, the team announced their training camp schedule. The first training camp will be held on Wednesday, July 27. The team will open their practices to the public for the next three practices July 28-30. These training camps are open to the public and free. The time of these free practices have not been announced. Don’t expect to see these players in full pads hitting each other. The NFL stated that the “first three days of NFL training practices must involve zero contact in practice. Players can then progress to practicing at full speed in helmets and light gear.” The Patriots full padded practice will not take place until August 1, according to the Bostonherald.com. The Pats have a practice with the Carolina Panthers on Aug 16, 17th which is free. All these free practices are held in Foxboro outside Gillette Stadium. Here is a friendly reminder, practices could be canceled due to weather. So don’t get mad if you drive to Foxboro and you arrive and the practices are canceled. Check the weather before you go. The Patriots will begin their preseason against the Giants August 11th.
