Kanye’s Official Site Shows Cryptic Message: ‘Coming Soon’
Is Kanye launching a new business? The rapper and billionaire entrepreneur’s official site www.kanyewest.com currently shows a cryptic message of “coming soon” in black font on a white background.
The re-emergence of the site fell on “Yeezy Day” in which Ye addressed his concern over Adidas allegedly stealing his designs for the popular sneaker brand and not seeking his approval for the day. Ye allegedly addressed his frustrations via DM with a fan.
“Adidas made up the Yeezy Day idea without my approval,” Kanye allegedly — chase (@ChaseSeesGhosts) August 2, 2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote, “then went and brought back older styles without my approval picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approached without my approval and hired a GM of Yeezy without my approval.”
Back in June, Ye called out Adidas for copying his Yeezy slides design as the global shoe brands’ rollout of their Adilette 22 resembles the rapper’s.
“THIS IS YE driving down the same street Kobe passed on,” Kanye wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Maybe I feel that Mamba spirit right now To Kasper I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more To all sneaker culture To every ball player rapper or even if you work at the store This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll loose their contract or be called crazy Bravery is not being afraid Bravery is overcoming your fear for your truth.”
There’s no word on what the re-emergence of Ye’s official site will mean but the entrepreneur is most likely building onto his empire.
