Kanye ‘Releasing All Grudges’ Following Queen Elizabeth II Death
Kanye West is in a forgiving mood. He declared he is “releasing all grudges.” In a recent Instagram post, he seemed to be communicating that the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II has put him in a more reflective state of mind. He says that he is now ready to let go of the past.
“Life is precious,” the rapper wrote in all caps. “Releasing all grudges today. Leaning into light.” The Donda creator then followed his note with two images of Queen Elizabeth II. However, Ye did not name any specific people he would be “releasing all grudges” with. But we can think of a few that he has sparred with publically.
First, you have Pete Davidson. The Saturday Night Live star dated Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian for nine months before calling it quits. During several social media rants he started a rumor that Pete Davidson had AIDS, called him out for tattooing his children’s initials on him, and even decapitated an animated version of Pete in a music video.
Second, there is Kid Cudi. Unlike Pete, Cudi has been a little more vocal with his dislike of the Chicago rapper. Back in April, Cudi revealed that “Rock N Roll” off of Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry would be his last collaboration with Ye. “I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye. I am not cool w that man. He’s not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye,” he tweeted on April 19. In a recent interview with Esquire, Cudi confirmed that he and Ye’s relationship is still not in a good place saying that it would take a “motherf—ing miracle” for them to be friends again.
Lastly, Adidas and GAP. Ye called out Adidas for releasing old shoes and creating colorways for his Yeezys like he’s “dead.” He then proceeded to call out each Adidas executive by name before telling fans to leave Alasdhair Willis alone. In that Instagram rant, GAP also got blasted the clothing company for “having meetings about me without me” and that they’re “next” on his list for a more direct targeting.
Hopefully, this new revelation Ye will stand out to be true.
