The "Icy Girl" rapper says that the first project to be released will be called The Single Life.
"I’m excited to share what I went through," said Saweetie on The Single Life to Rolling Stone. "I think as I was making it, I was more proud to be single. Because I realized that I was growing, I realized that I was elevating. And I realized that I was becoming a better woman."
She added: "It was definitely revolutionary. It was heartbreaking. It was honest. It was a reflection. It’s just me being Saweetie in full transparency."
Saweetie noted that her new releases will be from an "honest" mindset and that through her songwriting she has refused to cower back into old habits.
"I realized that I wasn’t writing from an honest standpoint when I first started because I wasn’t that vulnerable. I was very closed off," she said. "I was raised to be strong, to be tough, and not show any weakness."
She continued: "I feel like a lot of my [current] music is just honest. I think that my music has grown because of my vulnerability. I’ve accessed that part in my heart and in my mind."
The Single Life will be released sometime this year and will follow her debut album Pretty Bitch Music.
"She’s coming," Saweetie said of Pretty Bitch Music. "She’s still in the womb, I haven’t popped her out. I want to thank my fans for patiently waiting. It’s been a year. It’s been a while. I’ve been recording officially for a year, non-stop."
Saweetie's last project was a collab album titled Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1 which was released in 2021.
Saweetie -- born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper -- has made a name for herself in a short period of time. She has been infamously crowned the "sponsorship queen" due to her always chasing a bag through companies such as McDonald's, MAC, Crocs and many more. Not only does the Bay Area princess know how to chase a bag, but she is also finally getting the recognition she deserves for making catchy hits. The "Tap In" rapper was nominated for not one but two Grammys in 2022 for "Best New Artist" and for "Best Rap Song" for her hit "Best Friend" featuring Doja Cat. Although she didn't take home the trophy, fans are patiently waiting for her debut album Pretty B.I.T.C.H. Music which she has declared is not "an album it's a movement." However, when the rapper is not making deals or hits in the studio, she is known to flex on the 'gram in her designer fits and icy jewelry.
