2022 was Ice Spice's breakout year and 2023 is looking promising for the Bronx native. Ice Spice dropped her debut EP titled Like..? Friday (Jan. 20) which features three new songs. The six-track EP includes her viral drill single "Munch (Feeln' U)" and recent singles "Bikini Bottom" and "In Ha Mood," the latter that just dropped on Jan. 6.

The three new offerings on the Bronx native's EP are "Princess Diana," "Actin A Smoochie," and "Gangsta Boo" featuring Lil Tjay, the only guest appearance on her project.

Ice Spice was reportedly set to film a visual for "Gangsta Boo" but had to quickly change plans when Lil Tjay was arrested on weapons-related charges. She wound up using the production day to film a visual for "In Ha Mood." Lil Tjay has since been released on a $30K bail.

Ice, born Isis Gaston, told Billboard that she is inspired by Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Lil' Kim, Erykah Badu, "all of the greats."

"It’s them being from New York of course," she said. "That New York swag and aggression and bad bitchness. [Laughs.] When it comes to Lauryn and Erykah, they give a graceful angelic vibe of timeless beauty. All of them are icons."
