Today is National Beer Day. April 7 every year is the day that we celebrate the day we could legally start buying, selling and drinking beer. The year was 1933 when the Cullen–Harrison Act was passed. Now although it was signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 22, 1933, didn’t actually go into effect on April 7th.

There are a ton of breweries in the state that can keep you quite busy not only today, but for the whole weekend. We've put together a list of our favorites for you to save you the trouble of finding them yourself.

Oh, and did we mention...these breweries in and around the Boston area were voted on by YOU. Have a blast this weekend AND drink responsibly.
