Food Truck Festival Coming to Boston
On Saturday, May 6, Rowes Wharf Plaza is the place to be if you’re a foodie. This will be the site of the 2023 Greenway Food Truck Festival in Boston. Over ten different food trucks will be there serving up your favorite dishes.
In case that’s not enough, this event also coincides with the Greenway Artisan Market’s grand opening. Just steps away from the Boston waterfront, this area will be filled with small businesses, artists, and local flavors alike. “The Greenway Market is a tightly curated market, featuring local artists, designers, and creators,” they explain on their website.
Back To The Food
So what types of cuisine can you expect at this year’s Food Truck Festival? Everything from dumplings to po’boys to homemade cookies and ice cream. Cookie Monstah, The Dining Car, Gogi on The Block, Moyzilla, Revelry, Papi’s Stuffed Sopapillas, Tea Station, Paisani, Wanderlust, Vaz and Mac and more will be rolling up their trucks to the Greenway. By the way, Paisani was recently named Boston’s best new sandwich. Vaz and Mac is always a fan-favorite with their Tex Mex style tacos and quesadillas.
The Greenway Artisan Market
On Saturdays from May 6 through October 28 and Sundays from May 28 through October 8 from 11 am to 5 pm, select vendors can be found at the Greenway Artisan Market. This is operated by Somerville Flea.
“Discover unique handmade products, jewelry, crafted goods, and art along The Greenway, then continue with a spin on the Greenway Carousel, enjoy a food truck picnic on the organic lawns, and delight in Boston’s spectacular views,” they state via the official press release.
Lastly, the Trillium Beer Garden is already open and will pour their local brews. The first official Beer Garden in Boston’s history has been open since 2017 and features an outdoor patio. You can grab your favorite food truck item and bring it right in to pair with Trillium craft beer.
The Greenway Artisan Market will take place at Milk Street and State Street along Atlantic Avenue.
Both events are pet-friendly and for all ages, so kids can also enjoy the Greenway Carousel and Rings Fountain. So, if you are looking for a Food Truck Festival in Boston that allows for a fun and fulfilling time for the whole family, The Greenway has you covered.
