Lil Yachty is claiming that there has been no "factual" reporting done about Drake's upcoming For All The Dogs album. "Haven’t seen a factual piece of info on For All The Dogs yet lol," the rapper wrote in the since-deleted Tweet per HotNewHipHop.

Amazon Music announced in a since-deleted tweet that Drake's highly anticipated eighth studio album is set to arrive Friday (Aug. 25). They announced earlier this week.

"Drizzy's son has a future as a cover artist. New @drake august 25th," the tweet read.

Previously, on Sunday (August 20), @ThePopTingz on Twitter reported that For All The Dogs will also be arriving on Friday. "Drake’s new album, ‘For All The Dogs,’ will reportedly be released next Friday, August 25th," they wrote.

"I’m tired of everybody coming up to me, [saying] 'man… we miss that old Drake man. We need that old Drake man,'" he said on July 12 during his concert about his upcoming album. "Imma give it to you then."

Drake told the audience during a July 26 concert a vague timeline of when the album is to be expected.

"Make new friends. If you drink, drink some liquor. If you smoke, smoke some weed. And if you like somebody, like my dad says, keep f---ing. I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some s---. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud."

If the album does drop tomorrow (Aug. 25), Amazon and Pop Tingz's tweets would be valid.

Drake's last album was his joint project with 21 Savage on Her Loss. The Toronto rapper's last solo album was Honestly, Nevermind which was released in June 2022. It followed his 2021 Certified Lover Boy.
