Drake has given an update on For All The Dogs. On Friday night (Aug. 25) , during his tour stop in Seattle, Climate Pledge Arena, posted a video of Drake addressing the fact  that the album did not drop at midnight. Many fans believed that it was going to be out that day.

"I know everybody's upset that I didn't drop an album last night. I didn’t say it was dropping last night. So don't be mad at me," he told the audience. "I just said it was coming soon."

"It's not going to be that much longer, trust me. I'm finishing it up," he continued. "You know I got shows, everybody. But I promise you, For All the Dogs is on the way. I promise you, this album will be for you. I promise you it will be worth the wait," he added.

After Drake's album did not make it to fan's playlists on Friday, "No Drake" began trending on Twitter.

Prior to Friday, Lil Yachty tried to warn fans that Drake would not be dropping For All The Dogs at midnight. "Haven’t seen a factual piece of info on For All The Dogs yet lol," the rapper wrote in the since-deleted Tweet per HotNewHipHop. The last time Drake gave an update on For All The Dogs was during a July 26 concert on his It's All A Blur Tour.

"Make new friends. If you drink, drink some liquor. If you smoke, smoke some weed. And if you like somebody, like my dad says, keep f---ing. I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in, like, two weeks or some s---. But until then, just know, you’re always with me and I’m always thinking of you. Everything I do is for you. Every time I step in that booth, I hope I make you proud."

An official release date for the upcoming album has yet to be released at the time of this writing.
