50 Cent Throws Mic, Hits Fan During Concert
During his Los Angeles concert on Wednesday, 50 Cent threw his mic in frustration after several of them failed to work. Unfortunately, a fan was hit with it and left them bloodied according to TMZ.
In the video obtained by the tabloid, 50 Cent was looking to join YG on stage when the mic seemed to not be working. 50 Cent is then seen throwing the mic into the crowd which hit a woman right in the head. A source close to the situation told the gossip site that the mic was thrown in a restricted area which the woman was not supposed to be in. The source added that hitting the woman was not in the rapper’s intention.
This is not the first time a rapper has thrown a mic into the crowd during a concert. Last month, Cardi B asked fans to throw some water on her while she was performing. The rapper had a set at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas. However, one fan took it upon themselves to throw not only water on the rapper but ice as well. Cardi responded by throwing her mic at the area where it was coming from in the crowd. The mic hit a bystander who later filed a police report. She claimed that she did not throw the ice water cup at the rapper.

According to NBC, the woman who filed the police report said that the microphone hit her in the shoulder. She claims she is now “experiencing pain because of the incident and is going to go get medical attention after she returns home on 7/30/23.”
However, the Las Vegas police decided against the woman’s complaint and did not charge Cardi for the incident.
“This afternoon, we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. that, as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter,” the rapper’s attorneys Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld said in a statement per TMZ.
