Are you a writer who loves Beyoncè? Well, USA Today has a job opening that might be of interest to you. USA Today posted the job listing on LinkedIn. The listing asks for a reporter to “identify why the star’s influence continues to expand and the effect it is having on the music and business worlds. ” It further says, “The successful candidate also will tap into stories about the Beyhive, her protective fanbase that propels the image and relevance of the artist.”
As for geographic requirements, the job position is remote, and you can work from anywhere in the United States except for Alaska and Hawaii. If you prefer an in-person work environment and live near any of the local newsrooms that is also an option. The reporter must also be willing (and legally allowed) to travel internationally.

To apply, USA Today requires you to put together a single document file that includes the following, in this order:
– Your written resume – one to two pages.
– A video cover letter that tells us via video why you are great for this role.
– Links to 4-8 online samples of your work. Show what you’ve produced or had a hand in that best reflects what you can do in your desired role.
They’ve also listed the pay which will be based on the reporter’s previous experience but will range between $21.63 and $50.87 per hour.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour kicked off in May. The tour went to Paris, Stockholm, London, and more before coming to the United States. She has since hit cities including Boston, Chicago, Miami, New Jersey, and more. This is Beyonce’s first tour since her 2018 On The Run II Tour with Jay-Z for their album Everything Is Love. It is also her first solo tour since 2016, when she toured for Lemonade.

Donald Glover's Swarm "Shade"?

Some fans were convinced that Beyoncé shaded Donald Glover’s Amazon Prime series Swarm when she was performing the Renaissance track “America Has a Problem.” She shouts to the crowd, “Swarm on these hands, n—-!”
The series, which features Dominique Fishback and her mentee Chlöe Bailey, is about the extreme fandom and how it leads Fishback’s character (Andrea) to commit violent acts due to an obsession with a pop star (that is supposed to resemble Beyoncé). The series came out shortly before Beyoncé hit the road.
However, it could also just be a coincidence that Beyoncé used the word “swarm” and did not call out the series since she is dressed in a bee-inspired stage costume. The “shade” was never addressed by either party publicly.

Beyoncé is known for her visual albums and it is no secret that the Beyhive has wanted a visual component alongside Beyoncé’s Renaissance. However, we’ve never gotten a direct response until now. During her Kentucky tour stop in July, she gave fans an answer. The singer responded, “You are the visuals baby” in a now-viral clip.
