Ice Spice Lookalike Goes Viral
Ice Spice has her own doppelgänger. The woman plays up her resemblance to the Bronx rapper and even has her handle (@kimmymunch) referring to the emcee’s viral hit “Munch.” Fans on social media immediately flocked to the comments when Say Cheese posted a side-by-side image of the two women.
“S—, that’s Water Seasoning,” one fan wrote. “Icy hot if u ask me,” another Instagram user commented. One fan was not feeling the doppelgänger writing, “MAN BYE SHE FORCING IT,” referring to the woman playing into Ice Spice’s mannerisms.
“This perkio v2,” referring to Lil Durk’s famous doppelgänger.
Drake’s Doppelgänger
Ice Spice is not the only rapper to have a lookalike make rounds on social media. Drake infamously had a doppelgänger last year. The “Fake Drake” who went by “IzzyyDrake” was sent a cease and desist order to change his name from the Grammy-winning rapper.
“Dear IzzyyDrake, this letter serves as a notice of your unauthorized use of the trademark, ‘OVO’ to promote your brand and likeness, as well as your unauthorized fabrication of media which is Per Se damaging and defamatory to our brand,” the letter began. “Your conducted actions are unwarranted, unwelcome, and unacceptable.”
It continued: “In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 7 days that you will cease and desist from making any further factually untrue statements involving OVO Sound and/or Drake, and that you will no longer fabricate media that portrays the aforementioned Trademarks. Thank you for your cooperation.”
As a “birthday gift” to the rapper, IzzyyDrake decided to abide by the letter and change his name and no longer use Drake’s label OVO in his brand awareness.
Lil Durk’s Doppelgänger
Lil Durk also had a doppelgänger named Perkio referring to the drug but also Durk’s nickname Durkio. Perkio and IzzyyDrake actually With all rappers getting locked up , it seem like we going have to bump the rappers impersonating them . The Fake Durk (Perkio) and the Fake Drake ( Izzy Drake) linked up to shoot the remix to “Laugh Now , Cry Later” Is It 🔥🔥 or 🗑🗑 ? pic.twitter.com/KGDZMXjjAq
Hopefully, Ice Spice won’t ever have to go to legal measures. You can see the side-by-side comparison of Ice Spice and @kimmymunch here.
