Megan Thee Stallion's ex-best friend Kelsey Nicole had her first interview post-Tory Lanez's conviction. She is telling her side of the story. While the interview went through several topics with Kelsey as she sat down with The Danza Project podcast, one of the clips that has been making rounds on social media is that she was the one to jumpstart Megan's career.

On the podcast, Kelsey said while they were in college together she edited and uploaded a video of Megan rapping on YouTube. The video went viral and Nicole says that without her believing in Megan and uploading the video then the rapper wouldn't be where she is today. Additionally, Kelsey states that Megan's late mother thanked her at the time for helping her daughter.

At this time, Megan has not responded to Kelsey's claims.

Kelsey Nicole Speaks On Megan Thee Stallion In Diss Track

Kelsey Nicole was in the car the night Lanez shot Megan in the foot back in July 2020. Four months after the incident, Kelsey responded to rumors that she was the one who shot Megan (after Megan had denied her being the shooter multiple times) and that both women having a sexual relationship with Lanez was the cause of the shooting.

"Who I’m taking shots at? Bitch I’m busting you," Kelsey raps on "Bussin Back." "Couldn’t control your little feelings/ Look what d--- is costing you/ It was all good yeah about a week ago/ Shout out Bobby Shmurda but this bitch is really tweaking tho/ If I was the one with the gun you woulda heard about a murder/ Said her back was turned but the girl know who really hurt her."

Lanez was sentenced to sentenced to ten years in prison last August for the shooting of Megan.
