Walking Dead Casting Call Coming To Boston For Aspiring Zombies
Ever have a conversation with your friends about the zombie apocalypse? Which of you would survive? Who has the skills that would make you want to team up with them to survive? We’ve had that talk here with the GetUp Crew, and it’s gotten heated at times. Well, if you want to find out if you really have what it takes, The Walking Dead is coming to Boston. Not only will it be filming here, you can join in the fun as an extra by applying for The Walking Dead Casting Call.
The Walking Dead Casting Call
So the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City is coming to Boston. It’s scheduled to film from April through July, and they’re looking for locals to play extras on the show. The good news? All extras will be paid for their work. To apply, you have to fill out this form. You’ll have to submit some pictures, and answer questions about any special skills you have, tattoos, if you have any acting experience, and more.
What are they looking for?
According to Kendall Cooper Casting who’s doing the hiring, here’s what they’re looking for. “The casting team is looking for people of all ages and ethnicities local to the Boston area to portray walkers, soldiers, post apocalyptic survivors, and various other extra roles throughout the season. Specifically seeking athletes and people with military or law enforcement experience to play soldiers. Also seeking capable people with weathered faces to play survivors in the apocalypse. Also looking for people who are very thin, tall and have flexible/available schedules to play walkers.”
Tell me about The Walking Dead: Dead City
The Walking Dead: Dead City was confirmed last year at Sand Diego Comic-Con. The first season was a six-episode series featuring the team of Negan and Maggie. It was set in a zombie-plagued New York City. The second season will reportedly turn the tables on Maggie and Negan’s shaky relationship, and they will become full-on enemies.
