The Drake Curse Continues, Loses $300,000 Betting On Canada In Copa America Match

The Drake curse continues. Drake is known to love his gambling. Drake specifically loves to bet on sports. History has shown, he's not very good at it. Fast forward to yesterday, when his home country of Canada lost in the semi-finals of the Copa America tournament. The final score was 2-0 in favor of Argentina. This was not good news for Drake seeing as he bet on his home country to win. He bet $300,000 and if Canada had won, he would've taken home over 2.8 million dollars. Unfortunately for Drake, things did not go the way he had planned and he lost that $300,000.

Drake has lost over a million dollars in just the past few weeks alone. First, he bet on the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA championship. He put $500,000 down on that bet. Unfortunately for Drake (and fortunately for us Boston fans) he lost that bet with the Celtics winning the championship. Soon after, Drake bet another $500,000 on the Edmonton Oilers to win the NHL championship. Now that ended up being an exciting series, but Drake would end up losing that one too. That put him at a million dollars in losses in just a week. Put the $300,000 on top of it now and you can say Drake has lost a pretty penny.

Drake has a pretty bad betting history. Teams that have fallen victim to the Drake curse include: Alabama football. Drake posted a video of himself supporting Alabama before the 2019 college championship game. They'd go on to lose 44-16. In 2019, Drake wore a 76ers jersey on purpose hoping his team, the Toronto Raptors would beat them to make the Eastern Conference Finals. It worked. Conor McGregor at UFC 229 fell victim to Drake's curse seeing as Drake is a fan and supporter of Conor. Serena Williams lost the year it was rumored that the two were dating. The list goes on and on.

The moral of the story: bet AGAINST every team that Drake puts his money on.

Oh boy! Drake is blowing up the internet as I type, a video has been leaked showing him and his manhood. I woke up this morning and saw that Drake was trending number one on Twitter and was curious as to why. I mean, he is currently on tour. But that is NOT the reason. Let's get into it.
