However, regardless of Drake's beef with Kendrick, he has always had somewhat of a "corny" reputation. Maybe it comes from his rap singing and the way he is with women. Regardless, Drake can't seem to do anything these days without constant harassment from social media.
Drake posts Texas ID Card
The IG account @theneighborhoodtalk posted Drake's new Texas ID card with the caption: "Drake went and got his official Texas identification card."
Another user wrote "I'm sure he didn't have to wait five hours like I did." Oh and then several others are questioning his height written on the card which says 6 feet.
So what do you think? Do you think Drake gets the short end of the stick when it comes to things like this? Why is there so much Drake hate in the world?
Drake Drops 100GB Of Unreleased Content. If you weren't paying attention to social media yesterday, you probably woke up today to some amazing news if you're a Drake fan. Out of nowhere, Drake released 100GB of unreleased footage that includes 3 never before heard songs. Featured on the songs is Latto, 21 Savage and Young Thug. But the three songs are just the tip of the iceberg for the gift Drake gave his fans yesterday.
Before we get into some of the highlights from Drake's content dump, it's interesting to note two other interesting tidbits from social media yesterday. First, Drake took his new Finsta account to repost a tweet from 2019 that mocked J. Cole and his relationship with Jay Z. The tweet read "Remember when J Cole got his phone stolen out of pocket by a fan. They called JAY-Z from it but he wasn't answering so they called from their own phone and he picked up." Social media went off saying Drake knew exactly what he was doing reposting that tweet.
The other notable social media incident is that Drake started following a mysterious IG account that many are saying is hinting toward another round of his battle with Kendrick. The account is titled "Indigo Child," and doesn't have a ton of followers but it’s the bio that really proves to be the only thing out of the ordinary. It reads "Here we go again round 2 'FIGHT.'" Of course social media is buzzing about the potential of the Drake and Kendrick beef being reignited.
But as far as the content on Drake's 100GB, here are some of the highlights.
Song "Housekeeping Knows" featuring Latto
In the post on X, it shows video footage of Latto at a stable with horses. It plays the unreleased song "Housekeeping Knows."
Song "It's Up" featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage
The new song is previously unreleased. This song is posted to Drake's Finsta account. It was just created and already has over 237,000 followers that will surely go up today.
New song "Blue Green Red"
Another new song released on Drake's Finsta account. This is part of the 100GB of unreleased footage Drake dropped yesterday. Are you feeling these new songs?
Footage of a studio session where Drake recorded "Hotline Bling"
Footage of a studio session from when Drake was making “Hotline Bling.” In the footage, it is revealed that he even contemplated putting Future on it at one point. Wouldn't that have been interesting.
