Sexyy Red Hilariously Responds To Viral Look-Alike Photo

Sexyy Red recently responded to a viral photo of her look-alike on X, previously known as Twitter. Earlier this week, a user named @__naturalista__ shared a photo of herself on the platform. In the picture, she sported black-framed glasses and blonde hair. She captioned her selfie, “I didn’t think I’d like this color this much, but here we are.”

The photo caught the attention of another X user, @myculturenoisey, who replied, “You look like Sexyy Redd if she went to college & majored in physical science.” Many social media users noticed the striking resemblance to the rapper and flooded the comment section with their thoughts. One person wrote, “This is wholesome Red.”

Another user jokingly commented, “Sexyy Redd's sister who had a different upbringing [laughing emoji].” Someone else added, “Sexxy Edd(ucation).” A particularly hilarious comment was, “What if this is really Sexyy Redd, but when she’s not making music? Kind of like Hannah Montana.”

And if you didn’t watch Hannah Montana, it’s a Disney Channel sitcom from the early 2000s about a teenage girl named Miley Stewart (starring Miley Cyrus) who lives a double life as the famous pop star Hannah Montana. She uses her alter ego to keep her real identity a secret and lead a normal life with her friends and family. She relies on a blonde wig and creative costumes to maintain her anonymity and create her pop star persona.

While several people were excited about the look-a-like moment, Sexyy Redd herself came across the viral photo. “Sophisticated Red?” she wrote in the comments.

Last year, the rapper acknowledged that fellow rapper Young Thug is her "twin" after fans kept saying they look alike. A video clip of Sexyy Red circulated online where she was asked if any fan interactions had genuinely bothered her. She didn't hesitate to admit that it does bother her when people say she looks like Young Thug, because she just doesn't see the resemblance. But as you'd expect, telling the entire internet what gets to you isn't the best move. Sexyy Red was soon flooded with comparisons on social media.

One tweet in particular started gaining traction saying, "Now that I think about it, I really never seen Sexyy Red and Young Thug in the same room," with two side-by-side photos of Red and Thug that did look pretty similar.

Even though the comparison bothers her, Sexyy Red seems to have quickly gotten used to it. She quote-tweeted the post, saying, "Yea that’s my twin I must admit."
