Catie’s Closet 5K- Run, Walk, Hike, Or Bike With The GetUp Crew For A Great Cause

Catie's Closet 5K and the GetUp Crew are teaming up for a great cause! Helping kids in need. The mission of Catie's Closet is giving children in need, life-changing access to clothing and basic necessities so they can thrive in school and in life. And Catie's Closet Every Step of the Way 5k will help put brand new pairs of sneakers on the feet of local children. Read on to find out how you can join our GetUp Crew team.

Catie's Closet Every Step of the Way 5K is one of the events to support their mission. This specific event will use your registration funds to purchase a pair of sneakers for a student in need this school year. If you have a child yourself, or a child in your life, you know the difference a pair of sneakers can make in their confidence, positivity, and overall happiness. Wouldn't you love to be the reason for the smile on a kid's face? Well read on to join the Catie's Closet 5K.

Simple. You register, and between September 15th and 29th, you do your 5K. And no you don't have to run. You could walk, hike, bike, roll, skip, jump on the treadmill, or do whatever you want. Just finish your 5K (3.1 miles).

As this is a virtual 5K, there is no in-person event. While we won't actually be walking together, we'll be together in spirit working toward the same goal. The Catie's Closet Every Step of the Way 5K is an event for individuals, friends and families, companies, and community groups. I'll be getting members of my family to walk together. Why not do the same with your family? Maybe get your friends to register, complete the 5K together, and go out for brunch! It's also a great opportunity to teach your kids about doing something for others.

Every great achievement starts with a goal. As a team we decided that our goal will be to register 96 members for our team. I mean it makes sense right? We would love for you join our team and help us reach (and even surpass) that goal.
