Dave’s Hot Chicken Opens Third Boston Shop, Plans Dedham Location
Dave’s Hot Chicken just opened up at 1260 Boylston St., making it their third Boston location. This is the chain’s twelfth spot in Massachusetts as they keep growing across the country.
Following the success of their City Place and South Bay Center spots, the new place is open from 10:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday. Late-night fans can get their chicken fix until 1 a.m. on weekends.
Around Massachusetts, you can find these spicy chicken joints in Braintree, Chelmsford, Framingham, Franklin, Newton, Medford, Saugus, Woburn, and Worcester. They’re also getting ready to open another location at Legacy Place in Dedham.
Four friends kicked off this chicken joint in LA back in 2017, and it’s been taking off ever since. Each restaurant brings in about $2.7 million a year, with the company expected to hit $400 million in sales for 2023.
They keep the menu simple – you can get chicken tenders and sandwiches in seven different heat levels. Daredevils can try “The Reaper,” while those who prefer it mild can go for no spice.
Every location features cool street art and glowing neon signs. The brand’s got some famous backers too, including Drake, Michael Strahan, Samuel L. Jackson, and Maria Shriver.
They’ve grown from just 2 spots to 118 restaurants nationwide since 2020. They’re planning to open 70 to 100 new places each year, and they’ve already got deals lined up for more than 700 future locations.
