JetBlue has announced it will launch daily "summer-seasonal" flights from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport beginning June 12. Flights will depart from Manchester en route to JFK Airport at 7 a.m. and depart JFK to return at 10 p.m. The service will operate until Oct. 25, 2025, with one-way fares starting at $49, per JetBlue's website. JetBlue officials said it would be the only nonstop air service between Manchester, New Hampshire, and New York City.

Simple Flying report noted that the special $49 one-way fare flight is only available for purchase online on JetBlue's website. The fares must be booked by Sunday, March 2, for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday travel between June 12 and Oct. 25.

According to a WMUR report, airline officials said the timing of the flights would allow people to catch connecting flights departing from JFK.

JetBlue Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships Dave Jehn said that the new route will allow travelers to more easily go from New Hampshire and greater New England to New York City and beyond.

"Whether it's a quick getaway to New York City or a seamless connection for a sun-soaked trip to the Caribbean, this service provides customers with a convenient and comfortable travel experience from their home region," Jehn stated in a prepared news release.

The addition of this JetBlue service offering comes about a month before United ends its service to Newark Airport, just outside New York City. This service cancellation would have left Manchester without any connection to a major air transportation hub on the East Coast.

The "summer-seasonal" flights from Manchester to JFK also follow JetBlue's introduction of service at Manchester in January 2025. JetBlue currently offers three nonstop flights to Orlando, Fort Myers, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
