White Castle has opened an automated kiosk at Boston Logan International Airport in Terminal A's satellite concourse, allowing travelers to order hot Sliders on demand.

Menu items at the kiosk include the 100% beef Original Slider, Classic Cheese Sliders, Cheddar Bacon Cheese Slider, and the Chicken and Cheese Slider. Travelers can find it in the Terminal A satellite concourse, directly across from the children's play area.

“Our retail division has been bringing Sliders to Cravers outside of restaurants for nearly 40 years,” said Sarah Paulson, director of retail marketing, innovation, and licensing at White Castle, in a statement shared with Boston.com. “Now, thanks to our partnership with Just Baked and Evolvending, these same Sliders are ready in under two minutes for a hot and tasty meal or snack on the go.”

A company news release noted that the new White Castle kiosk is made possible through a partnership with Just Baked, an automated food kiosk company, and Evolvending, the operator and manager of state-of-the-art automated dining solutions.

According to company officials, the launch at Boston Logan Airport follows White Castle's continued focus on enhancing operations through automation and robotics. The company partnered with Miso Robotics on its newest AI-powered fry station robot, Flippy. It announced during the summer a new robot delivery service for some of its Uber Eats order fulfillment in Chicago.

There are no White Castle storefronts in New England, making the Logan Airport kiosk the chain's sole presence in the region.
