You don't have to travel far in Massachusetts to find a shop that merges the spooky with Santa Claus.
At Liz Frazier's Witch City Wicks candle shop, you can find a dedicated “spooky Christmas” collection. According to Frazier, the idea is fueled by nostalgia and a wish to extend Halloween fun into the holidays.
NewsCenter 5 visited the shop, noting that the spooky collection includes candles with names like Krampus, Ghost of Yule, and Christmas Morning (spelled M-O-U-R-N-I-N-G), along with related stationery and chocolates.
Frazier was one of several business owners who participated in Grave Tidings, an annual event held at the Salem Old Town Hall on Dec. 6 and 7. The event featured local creators, including Liz's sister Amelia, and other small-business participants in a spooky holiday market charitable fundraising effort.
