Boston’s nightlife is about to get a lot more playful. Swingers Back Bay, a new entertainment venue blending mini golf, craft cocktails and vintage arcade games, will officially open its doors on February 27 at 777 Boylston Street. Tickets are already on sale, and buzz around the opening is building fast.
The two-story space covers more than 21,000 square feet and promises to be unlike anything else in the neighborhood. Guests can look forward to two beautifully designed crazy golf courses, multiple cocktail bars and distinct semi-private areas for groups and celebrations. The venue's Carnival area—decked out in Belle Époque–inspired décor—will feature nostalgic arcade favorites such as Roll-A-Ball, Skee-Ball and Down the Clown, complete with prizes for winners.
The brand, which first launched in London, is known for its immersive vibe where good food, music and friendly competition come together. The Boston location is opening in partnership with Tavistock Restaurant Collection, the group behind some of the city’s most popular dining destinations. Together, they’re turning the historic stretch of Boylston Street into one of Boston’s liveliest new hot spots.
“Boston has an incredible social energy, and we’re thrilled to finally set an opening date,” said Jeremy Simmonds, co-founder and CEO of Swingers, in the announcement. “Swingers Back Bay is all about friendly competition, amazing drinks, great food and an electric atmosphere.”

With existing venues in London, New York City, Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas, the Back Bay location marks Swingers’ fourth in the U.S.—and its first in New England. Locals can expect late-night crowds, curated DJ sets and an atmosphere designed for date nights, birthdays and after-work gatherings.
Swingers Back Bay joins a growing lineup of entertainment-driven destinations revitalizing Boston’s nightlife scene. If early interest is any indication, this new spot is set to be one of the city's most in-demand venues heading into spring.
