After debuting in December with holiday-themed drone experiences in Boston, Frostival returns for the first part of the new year. Immersive experiences will be centered on the Frostival Lodge at Copley Square and a 75-foot Frostival Ferris Wheel along the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
The Frostival Lodge will open Feb. 6, and the Frostival Ferris Wheel will run throughout February.
Furnished by Wayfair and presented in partnership with Eataly and NBC10 Boston, the Frostival Lodge will offer winter-themed food and drink, cozy décor, and activities like weekly trivia. Additional programs will include kids' crafts, curling, board games, and watch parties for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The Frostival Ferris Wheel, located adjacent to the Greenway's signature carousel, will be open from Wednesday through Sunday from Jan. 31 through March 1. Also, for the first time, the carousel will operate during weekends in February.
“Frostival represents our dedicated effort to reimagine winter in Boston with new and interactive programming that is appealing to audiences of all ages,” Meet Boston CEO Martha J. Sheridan said in a statement shared with NBC10 Boston. “The activation at Copley Square will be an anchor for us, creating memorable winter experiences to drive new and repeat visitation. Imagine the magic of a Scandinavian landscape, a chateau in the Italian Alps, and a cozy alpine lodge in Quebec, all coming to life in the heart of Back Bay with a distinctly Boston flair!”
More information about Frostival, including details about hotel packages and other events across the city, is available on the Boston Frostival website.
