The Worcester Redevelopment Authority (WRA) is seeking a new tenant for Union Station's Grand Hall event space and on-site restaurant. The current lease with Maxwell Lucianos expires at the end of June, marking an end to 18 years of operation in the space.
According to a Patch of Worcester report, the WRA announced it is looking to release and advertise a Request for Proposals in March. A public listening session was held on Wednesday, Feb. 25, to gather community input.
Union Station, a landmark originally built in 1911 and restored from 1998 to 2000, serves as a transportation hub and a versatile venue for events like banquets and weddings.
