Regina Pizzeria's Fenway location at 1330 Boylston St. has closed. A spokesperson for Boston Restaurant Associates confirmed the closure on Thursday, March 5.

Marc Hurwitz of the Boston Restaurant Talk blog first reported the closing, posting a photo of the Fenway location on Bluesky. In the photograph, a sign on Regina's door noted, “This location is now closed.”

East Coast Associates, which handles PR for Boston Restaurant Associates, likewise confirmed the business closure. The decision to shutter the doors followed the nonrenewal of the building's lease, according to a statement.

A check of Regina Pizzeria's website on Friday, March 6, no longer listed the Fenway location.

According to Boston.com, the Fenway restaurant opened in 2013 during Regina Pizzeria's Boston-area expansion. That expansion was part of a period when the brand operated about 20 locations, according to a Patch of Boston report.

Despite the Fenway closure, all other Regina Pizzeria locations remain open, though there are now only 12. These locations extend from its flagship North End store to the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
