Airbnb has announced the launch of its largest-ever World Cup host incentive. The company will offer new hosts in World Cup cities, including Boston, a $750 bonus for listing an entire home.

According to a Boston.com report, Boston is projected to be among the top-earning host markets. World Cup hosts could receive an average income of approximately $5,200 per host, part of a broader event zone that includes Providence, Rhode Island, and about 100 ZIP codes.

A Deloitte study commissioned by Airbnb estimates that hosting the World Cup could generate up to $210 million in earnings for new hosts, with an average of approximately $3,000 per host.

The World Cup host cities include 11 in the United States, three in Mexico, and two in Canada. In Massachusetts, matches will take place at Gillette Stadium (referred to as Boston Stadium by FIFA World Cup officials) in Foxborough from June 11 to July 19. A full schedule is available online

As the Official Fan Accommodation of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Airbnb has created several resources for individuals who are interested in hosting during the World Cup. According to Airbnb's World Cup hosting policies, new hosts must agree to welcome their first guests at their Airbnb rentals by July 31.
