100 Years of Hit Makers

Interview with Songwriter Thomas Archer

Thomas Archer is a multi-platinum country music hit songwriter. A native of Georgia, he discovered his love for music when he was growing up. His roots run deep and his passion for music evolved when he was young while watching both of his grandfather’s play guitar and sing to all of Hank Williams, Sr. songs.

It didn’t take the tunesmith long in Music City to write his first 4x platinum, 2 week #1 hit single, “Hurricane” by Luke Combs.

Collectively, as a published songwriter, Archer has accumulated more that 60 song cuts with the likes of Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Walker Hayes, Mitchell Tenpenny, John Langston, Jordan Rager, Colt Ford, Waterloo Revival, Peyton Smith + many others. Thomas currently has chart climbing hit singles with country music superstars, Luke Combs’, “Lovin’ On You” and Jason Aldean, “Got What I Got”.

In this episode of 100 Years of Radio -100 Years of Hit Makers, we sit down with  songwriter Thomas Archer to hear stories behind the lyrics and songs he helps create.
