Oompa is a Boston born and raised poet, recording artist and educator. She released her highly-acclaimed debut album November 3rd last year. She is also the winner of the 2017 Women of the World Poetry Slam, and a finalist at the 2017 National Poetry Slam.
Oompa is using her voice to make a difference, and in her words “forever representing the queer, black, orphaned, hood kids an ‘nem.”
