PHOTOS: New England Patriot Matthew Judon And Hundreds Shave Heads For A Great Cause

The 14th annual One Mission Buzz Off took place on Father's Day this year. The event, which takes place every June, is attended by hundreds if not thousands of volunteers who all have one goal in mind: to raise money for One Mission. One Mission is an amazing organization that helps kids as they battle cancer by "providing programs and services that reduce stress, restore joy, and give children and their loved ones the support they need to get through the daily challenges of treatment."

One Mission was started by Ashley and Ari Haseotes back in 2009 after their son, Nicholas, was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia at just 7 months old.  According to the One Mission website: "Their son’s diagnosis blindsided Ashley and Ari and turned their lives upside down. Nicholas was hospitalized and endured 188 straight days of cancer treatment.

Over the course of his long treatment, Ashley kept detailed notes of the things they wished they could change about living in the small confines of a hospital room. From wishing music therapy sessions were more frequent, to longing for toys and games for their son to play with, to missing the comfort found from interaction with others. Her notes from that time became what One Mission is today – a charity focused on improving the day-to-day life of kids fighting cancer and their families."

Every year, people from all over New England go to Gillette Stadium for the One Mission Buzz Off and shave their heads as a form of solidarity for everyone battling cancer. Matthew Judon from the New England Patriots is the official spokesperson for the Buzz Off and was on hand, along with emcees Melissa and Ramiro from The Getup Crew on Hot 96.9. The event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years. Here are pictures from Sunday's event.
