The summer heat isn't going anywhere and slowly sipping on a frozen bevvy is the perfect way to chill out. It's not as easy as you think to find a restaurant or bar that will serve a frozen drink. It's a lot of work for bartenders, and a lot of noise for patrons. With some help from FourSquare, Yelp, Timeout, Eater, and my own personal research, I am sharing 11 cool places to get the best frozen drinks in Boston(In no particular order). These are the spots to get your boozy blended beverages. You will find everything from slushies, to margaritas and Pina Coladas. But, if it's a jolt you are looking for in a beverage, there are many great places to get the best espresso martinis in Boston.
1. Banyan Bar & Refuge
553 Tremont St. Boston
Banyan Bar is famous for their Frosé, and apparently it's a secret recipe. A Frosé is a fun and fruity summer bevvy made with frozen rosé. FourSquare reviewer Ben had another suggestion for Banyan, "Don't miss out on the Kirin slushie or the shandy which uses the beer slushie as a main ingredient. Great cocktail menu all around!"
2. RumBa Rum Bar & Champagne Lounge
510 Atlantic Ave. Boston - Intercontinental Hotel lobby
FourSquare reviewer Ester raved about a classic frozen drink at RumBa, saying " We loved the piña colada and the rumba punch. Music is great, too."

Shore Leave (love the name) is located in the basement of the building and according to Yelp reviewer, Meghan L, "The vibe was super cool, it had a disco ball! The service here was wonderful as well." Their new drink menu features some frozen deliciousness. Check out their version of a frozen cherry coke, called "Cherry Hail." It's made with rum, cherry liquer and Cynar. Does this scream summer or what?

At Strega in the North End, you can Frosé all day! I mean just look at this flight of Frosés! I don't even care if parking in the North End can be difficult. This iconic restaurant is calling my name. Warm up the blender.
7. Fox and the Knife
28 West Broadway, South Boston
Fox and the Knife in Southie offers traditional Italian food but has an anything but traditional frozen favorite. Try their Frozen Basil Daiquiri! It's made with rum, basil and lime. Simple and so refreshing! They also serve a variety of frose flavors from rose to white peach and grapefruit.

Looking for something more substantial in a frozen drink? Look no further than a Somerville legend, the classic diner, Rosebud American Kitchen and their boozy milkshakes! Delight in the flavors of Vanilla, chocolate or coffee!

This Davis Square treasure has been blending a special take on the classic pina colada for many years now. A must have is the Painted Burro's frozen Burro Colada and it's here all summer! The owner's unique recipe mixes Pango Rhum, Coco Lopez and pineapple puree.

The Envoy Hotel's Lookout Rooftop is tops for their views of Boston Harbor and their fabulous frozen cocktails. Try their Very Berry Frosé made with Absolut Berry Vodka, Rosé, and Grand Marnier. Ask about their The Lemon Icetail is made with Reyka vodka. They serve it like the old school Italian Ice you loved as a kid, in a round carton with a little wooden spoon! (Hopefully they still make those!)

The Automatic is famous for their retro cocktails. Patrons are big fans of their Frozen Mudslide. This frozen delight is made with vodka, Irish cream, coffee, and chocolate, drizzled with chocolate syrup. It's a dessert and a cocktail all in one. Yes please! They offer quite a few frozen fun drinks, including this - Amaretto Slushies!
