There are only so many days left before the end of spooky season… with so many good Halloween movies to be watched!

This article could help you narrow down your movie choices if you’re having a hard time picking a film that invokes the Halloween time.

Here are 7 of the best Halloween movies ever (in no specific order):

  • 1. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

    “Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He’s gotta pick this one. He’s got to. I don’t see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there’s not a sign of hypocrisy.     It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is a Halloween family movie classic.

    Watching this film is sure to bring about good memories and the desire to treat or treat, dress-up, and carve some pumpkins.

  • 2. Halloween (1978)

    Freddy Krueger has lurked around in Halloween nightmares since A Nightmare on Elm Street debuted in 1984.

    This is another classic Halloween film that has a few sequels and a remake in 2010.

  • 4. Scream (1996)

    Scream is a must-have in your Halloween movie starter pack. After watching the first one, you can continue on to watch 2, 3, and 4.

    If you’re a big fan and are willing to wait a bit longer, there is a new remake coming out in 2022.

    The Scream movies are available for subscribers of FuboTV and DirecTV and are also available to rent on Apple TV, Amazon, Google Play and YouTube.

  • 5. Child's Play (1988)

    This is a spooky favorite dedicated to the most cherished and feared doll of Halloween.

    The Chucky from 1988 was frightening on Halloween then and is still continuing to leave spooks with the 2019 version.

  • 7. The Omen (1976)

    Watch the devil at work during the Devil’s day. The Omen is a Halloween movie that shouldn’t be looked over.

    It’s a chilling film that captures the horror of the unknown and unnoticed, just like the spirits that might be lurking around during your Halloween time.

    You can begin at the original 1976 movie and go through until the last 1991 film, Omen IV: The Awakening.
