Happy birthday Tom Brady! The GOAT, former Patriots quarterback, future Hall of Famer and greatest of all time turns 46 years old today. Tom Brady was born August 3, 1977. We know he’s no longer here in Boston or New England but as a fan base, we still have a LOT of love for Tom. He will always be our quarterback and fans in New England will always find ways to celebrate Tom Brady in whatever he chooses to do.
As far as what Tom Brady is choosing to do, he will become an NFL correspondent for Fox Sports starting next fall. His contract was gigantic. A year ago, Brady signed that contract to become the color commentator for FOX’s top NFL broadcast team. The deal was 10-years and $375 million.
Tom Brady also has other plans for his future. He has just become a minority owner of Birmingham City, a club in English soccer’s second-tier Championship. According to a statement from the club: Tom will “apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club, including working alongside the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems and programs.” What exactly does this mean? Well Tom himself admits he still has a lot to learn about soccer but according to Tom himself, “I do know a few things about winning, and I think they may translate pretty well.”
In the meantime, with Tom Brady turning 46 years old today, we decided we wanted to celebrate by reminiscing times that Tom Brady was just as “normal” as the rest of us. Yes he gets drunk and loves to have fun. He also loves to have fun with his friends and family. Let’s celebrate Tom and the human that he really is. Happy birthday Tom Brady. You are the GOAT!
