Everyone has stuff going on. Life stuff, work stuff,  health stuff, relationship stuff, personal stuff, etc. There’s no one that exists on this planet that has every single aspect of life going perfectly for them. Nobody. No matter what they try to show you on Instagram. You could even be a 7 time Super Bowl champion and need to work on your relationship skills, hypothetically speaking.

Anyway, these books have tremendously helped me out, so I figured I’d pay it forward. I could’ve made the list way longer, but I kept it to 9 so that you could read it quickly and then take action on making yourself better.

Most of these books are available not only in print, but in audiobook and ebook versions. If you’d like you can start a FREE trial of Kindle Unlimited for 30 days here, or sign up for Amazon’s Audible Premier Plus and get up to Two FREE audiobooks here.

I’m currently reading this and Love it!! I’m sending gems of advice of this daily to my wife and older kids.

  • Life Force by Tony Robbins

The complete title is Life Force: How New Breakthroughs in Precision Medicine Can Transform the Quality of Your Life & Those You Love.

It’s a Tony Robbins book on all aspects of health, including encouraging treatments for a lot of diseases and conditions that we never thought we’d see a cure for.

A must read for everybody. The main theme is basically “Just be nice”, but it gives you actual examples and strategies on how to do that.

  • Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear

A lot of people don’t realize that how you live your day is how you live your life. This book reminds you how your small daily decisions and habits shape your entire identity. This book will help you realize and change that in a positive way.

  • 12 Rules For Life: An Antidote to Chaos by Jordan B. Peterson

The rules are basic and easy to apply, and at the same time it’s a book that really applies what I like to call the “Mirror Test”, which is basically taking a look in the mirror and being honest with yourself about yourself. My personal favorite rule is #6.

  • Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual Mk1-MOD1 by Jocko Willink

Be Disciplined with your time in order to have freedom with it.

Be disciplined with your finances in order to have more freedom with it.

Be disciplined with your nutrition in order to have more freedom with it.

You get the picture. I reread this on a regular basis as reminder.

  • Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins

A slap in the face of a book. Read this whenever you feel that life isn’t fair for you or that you’ll never (fill in the blank) because it’s too hard.

  • Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl

Written by a man that spent time in a concentration camp. That’s all you need to know.

  • Tools Of Titans by Tim Ferris

Book Cover: Orange Cover with Yellow Writing and a black wrench. Tools of Titans by Tim Ferris
