Elf on the Shelf is back! If you know, you know. If you don't, let me give you a brief overview. Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition where magical Scout Elves help Santa with his "nice list." The elves keep an eye on kid's activities leading up to Christmas, and report back to Santa at the North Pole nightly. And every morning, the Elf returns back to the family in a new place, waiting for the kids to find them.
When you first get your Elf, you have to give it a name. Kids really get creative with this with names like: Pinky, Frosty, Buddy, Winky, Snowflake, Snowball, etc. At some homes, Elf will simply move from place to place each morning. And in other home, Elf gets incredibly inventive in where they show up.
