The Encore Boston Harbor Casino opened on June 23, 2019, and cost a whopping $2.6 billion dollars. Since then, it had over 3.5 million visitors during the first eight months it was open. Of course it took a hit when the pandemic started, but it has bounced back with people headed to the tables, slots, restaurants, rooms, and stores.
Melissa KNOWS the Encore
I don’t spend a whole lot of time at the casino, but if you listen to the GetUp Crew, you know that our resident gambleholic/Queen of the Casino is our very own Melissa. She spends many nights there, has probably eaten at all the restaurants, and does her fair share of gambling with her game of choice being the Ultimate Fire Link slot machine.

What the Encore Casino has to offer
When you go to a casino, of course you want to have great games to gamble on. But now, competition is fierce, and casinos have had to step up their games to provide much more than just a chance to lose all our money. The Encore Casino has state-of-the-art slot machines at every level. Upstairs on the terrace level there are table games, private gambling salons, high-limit gaming rooms, and s spectacular view of all the action below. They also offer a variety of dining experiences for every taste. And if you’re staying at the resort, they also have a serene and secluded spa and salon, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center if you want to get a workout in.
Well, I decided to look into the casino and see if I could find some fun facts about the Encore that even Melissa didn’t know. Well, there isn’t much she didn’t know, but I was able to come up with a few.
